IMAG is proud to have Rick as a consulting liaison partner. Rick is a leading technology innovator and serial entrepreneur. He has spent much of the last 35 years implementing software and IT solutions, many for the financial services industry. He is President & CEO of Visual Technologies, Inc. (“VISTECH”), a software development and technology consulting firm based in Hartford, Connecticut. Rick has gained reputation and respect for his focus on adding business value while implementing leading edge technology via agile development processes.

Rick founded VISTECH in 1995 and quickly positioned the company as a leading provider of custom software solutions.  In the financial services industry, VISTECH implemented planning and illustration tools as well as fully functional back office administrative systems for major global groups including New York Life Investment Management, Oppenheimer Funds, Principal Financial Group, MassMutual, and Ernst & Young.   Recently, VISTECH launched an ecommerce Configure/Price/Quote SaaS suite that supports configured products and complex pricing required by manufacturers.  In addition to software, VISTECH offers Managed IT services and a wide array of consulting, including Cloud and Cybersecurity.

Prior to VISTECH, Rick was an Executive at Computer Sciences Corporation where he started and then led the company’s insurance products R&D team. In previous roles, he was VP of Retail Products division of Golden Financial Group (“GFG”). GFG’s insurance company, Golden American Life, continues as ING’s variable annuity issuer with product sales exceeding $10B. Rick was also President of Huebner & Associates, an IT consulting firm and Senior Technologist at Kepner-Tregoe, a management consulting firm. Rick serves on the Boards of Directors for the Connecticut Technology Council and the World Affairs Council of Connecticut. His is also an active member of several organizations in his community. Rick holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
